iAS Stress Management E-learning:
The International Accreditation Society (iAS) was established in 1998 as a non profit making examining board with the brief to set standards for the delivery of training and assessment for individuals in the workplace. iAS, through its accreditation of training and assessment, is able to provide assurances that agreed standards are being met.
About the course
Anyone who manages people should have an awareness of stress, including what work-related stress is, how it is caused, and the impact that it can have on the workplace. This course has been created to provide a suitable level of understanding for anyone looking to begin to understand so that they can address issues surrounding work-related stress.
An effective management of work-related stress is essential for a productive, long lasting, healthy and legally compliant workplace, and failing to meet the mark when it comes to managing stress could be costing your organisation considerably.

Managers, supervisors, team leaders, health and safety professionals will all benefit greatly from this course, and it makes a good addition for those undertaking the IOSH Managing Safely® qualification.
Content
The course is split into 5 modules:
- Module 1 – Introducing stress, what is it?
- Module 2 – Legal, moral and financial arguments
- Module 3 – Causes and signs of stress in the workplace
- Module 4 – Ill-health associated with stress
- Module 5 – Managing stress
These elements have been designed to cover the core concepts of stress, what stress is, why it is important to manage, common signs and side-effects, and a consideration for how to manage it.
Assessment
This course is assessed with a multiple-choice assessment completed on the online platform.
Once you have worked through the course materials you will be prompted to take your assessment. You have 30 minutes to complete the assessment and 1 free re-take.
Certificate
This course is certified by iAS, and your certificate is provided digitally upon successful completion of the final assessment.
